Cutler Lake: Winter cold slows most construction activity

Posted on 1/9/2018 by Engineering in Cutler Lake

Much of Ohio’s outdoor construction activity was recently slowed by the holiday season and below normal winter temperatures. Work continues, weather permitting, which includes building concrete forms, installing a waterstop and tying reinforcing steel at the dam improvements construction site at Blue Rock State Park. The first group in a series of spillway/chute slabs have been placed along with the initial wingwall slabs. Additional concrete work will continue during winter, weather permitting. Project completion is scheduled for Summer, 2018.
