Cutler Lake: Project completion set for end of 2018

Posted on 5/23/2018 by Engineering in Cutler Lake

Construction work continues on the new Cutler Lake spillway and other dam improvements at Blue Rock State Park. Much of the current work includes placement of spillway chute and wing-wall concrete slabs. Additional concrete work, including placement of training walls, labyrinth weirs and other items, will dominate warm season construction activities. Cutler Lake Dam is the fourth ODNR-owned facility incorporating a labyrinth weir spillway design into it’s dam improvements. The other three recently improved dams with labyrinth weir spillways are Lake Loramie, Mt. Gilead and Indian Lake state parks. Project completion at Cutler Lake is scheduled for the end of 2018.
