Guidance for emergent aquatic vegetation at Buckeye Lake

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources offers helpful information concerning the emergence of aquatic vegetation at Buckeye Lake. Area residents are encouraged, for example, to leave native aquatic vegetation around the lake undisturbed as it provides positive benefits for the lake ecology. Nearly all of the emergent aquatic vegetation will die off once frost season arrives in the Fall.
