Cutler Lake: Improvements underway as fall colors near peak

Posted on 10/11/2017 by Engineering in Cutler Lake

As southeast Ohio woodlands get nearer to peak colors this month, workers remain busy on the initial phase of improvements to the Cutler Lake dam and spillway. The spillway pedestrian bridge and portions of the spillway chute have been removed as Phase 1 excavation work continues. Workers also have completed placement of a diversion berm along with additional excavation and water control measures. Lake dewatering and limited trail closures were previously completed in early Fall. Park visitors are reminded to stay clear of the construction zone. Project completion is Summer, 2018.
