Lake Loramie: New spillway structure taking shape

Recently, workers have completed construction of the downstream wingwalls, initiated excavation of the downstream outflow channel and placed riprap between the wingwalls, among an expanded list of work items. Work upcoming includes installing the new sluice gate, stop logs and trash racks, completion of the concrete pour for the spillway control tower, placement of the riprap channel and installation of handrails. The project remains on schedule and is set for completion in Spring, 2018.
